Darlene Y. Crabb, 75, of Keats, died Tuesday at the Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.

The family provided some of the information.

She was born on July 1, 1938, in Topeka. She was the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Griffin) Crawford.

On June 16, 1957, at Frankfort, she was married to Wilbur L. Crabb.  He survives of the home.

Darlene was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking and painting.

She also volunteered for the Red Cross and was a substitute teacher in Milford and Manhattan.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Louis Todd Crabb and wife Jeanette of Wadsworth, Ohio; three daughters, Laura Adinolfi of Olathe, Judy Zentz of Waukee, Iowa and Karla Sue Grayson and husband David of Manhattan; one brother, Larry Crawford and wife Judy of Topeka; one sister, Marilyn Dysinger of Springfield, Mo.; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Alisa Carol Matthews; one brother, Wayne Crawford; and one grandson, Tyler Bland.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, with the Rev. Kevin Larson officiating. 

Respect calls may be made anytime Friday at the funeral home. 

Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery, east of Riley.

A memorial has been established for St. Jude’s Children Hospital.  Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
