Police located a 22-year-old Manhattan man Thursday believed to be involved in an earlier armed robbery at Dara’s Fast Lane.

Frank Hanson III, 1838 Anderson Ave., Apt. 4, was arrested in Grandview Plaza at approximately 5 p.m. Thursday after he was located with the assistance of Junction City and Grandview Plaza police.

Officer Matt Droge said he was arrested for aggravated robbery in connection with the armed robbery at Dara’s Fast Lane, 1816 Claflin Road, at about 1:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Droge said Hanson matches the description, given by store employees, of the man who entered into the store with a gun.

Hanson is confined to the Riley County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Officers arrested another man, Dennis Denzien, who also lives at 1838 Anderson Ave., on Wednesday, for his alleged part in the robbery. He is still confined on $55,000 bond.

Droge said the men were identified after police executed a search warrant at 1838 Anderson on an unrelated criminal damage to property case. During that search, Droge said, items allegedly related to the robbery were found.

Police are not specifying the amount of money stolen during the robbery or any other items stolen.

During the investigation, another man, Patrick Scahill, of the same address, was arrested for various drug charges, but he was not implicated in the robbery.

Droge said the Riley County Police Department would like to thank the public for their help.
