Criticism of Obama advocate typical of GOP right-wingers

By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:

It is not surprising at all that Art Loub had to respond to the excellent letter by Nolan Carlson. Every letter I have had published for a long time drew a responding letter delivered by the U.S. mail. It also doesn’t surprise me in the least that none of the things he blames our president for is backed up with tangible evidence.

It has been my observation that the right wingnut section of the Republican Party rarely can come up with evidence when making its accusations. In fact, a poll by a fact-checking site quoted on Yahoo News found that 40 percent of so called liberal news media claims were false while 60 percent on Fox were false.

We used to have a responsible and compassionate GOP here in Kansas, and for the most part the rest of the country. There is still evidence of it, but only in the mainstream members of the party, like the ones now backing Paul Davis. I was once a member of the Republican party, but can no longer put up with the lies and hate that permeates much of their rhetoric.

Get a life, Art.
