Three suspects facing murder charges in connection with the death of a Junction City woman appeared in court Thursday and are set for their next status hearings.

Larry Anderson, 25, of Manhattan; Drexel Woody, 23, of Fort Riley; and Marrysa Middleton, 22, of Colorado (city unknown), were arrested last week in connection with the death of Amanda Clemons, 24, of Junction City.

Clemons’ body was found by Junction City authorities the night of Feb. 12 in rural southern Geary County.

She was last seen alive on Feb. 10 being placed into a silver-colored vehicle with four people outside the Budget Host Hotel in Junction City. Anderson was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and conspiracy, as was Middleton.

Woody was charged with aiding and abetting first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and conspiracy. All three cases are set for a status hearing at 9 a.m. on March 27 in Geary County District Court.

Prosecutors are waiting for police to process evidence and come up with a final autopsy report.
