Concealed carry on campuses is both risky and unnecessary

By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
Following a recent op-ed column in the Mercury concerning concealed carry on college campuses, I have been involved in several discussions. First, before I get accused of anything, I own several guns — rifles and pistols. I like guns, always have. I like to shoot guns. I received my first gun as a 13th birthday present. But I am not sure I really understand the whole “I need concealed carry” concept.
