Class 1A girls’ teams move on

At Randolph, the Blue Valley-Randolph Rams turned a good start into an easy win on Tuesday, beating Wakefield 51-30.

The Rams scored 22 points in the first quarter alone to lead 22-6, and pushed that out to 32-11 in the second quarter.

Wakefield played better in the second half, but it couldn’t make up any ground on the lead, as both teams scored 19 points in the half.

The Rams got a game-high 16 points and two 3-pointers from Emily Tucker, while Brittany Pfaff scored 10 and Katy Plummer added 10.
