Cory Young, originally from Clovis, N.M., and a Kansas State University graduate, joined the CivicPlus Content Development team.  Young graduated from K-State with a bachelor’s degree in computer science with an emphasis in software engineering.

While attending K-State, he was a web team member in the Department of Continuing Education, where he was responsible for updating current and also creating new web pages.

In his new role with CivicPlus, Young will be responsible for the development and editing of text for our client websites.

The CivicPlus marketing team hired Mike Honeywell to the team as the new director of marketing. Honeywell joins the team with 15 years of experience in leading marketing teams, managing multiple distribution channels and brand management.

He has managed brands for Subway, Baskin-Robbins, Five Guys, Allstate, Unilever, Fibre-Craft, JJ Keller, and Toyota Canada.

As the new marketing director, Honeywell will oversee the implementation of the annual marketing plan, budget, objectives, strategies and tactics to drive leads and help the company meet short and long term goals.

“He has a solid background and skill set in lead-focused marketing in a growth-oriented company, and I expect him to be a great asset to the company.” - Brian Rempe, COO.

Since 2004, with the launch of our first interactive communication plan, CivicPlus has specialized in building city and county e-government communication system. The company does more than design and program websites.

It creates multifaceted community-engagement tools for interactive communication between elected officials, government employees and citizens.
