To the Editor:
Why did I vote against the city’s revised formula for economic development? Short answer: it doesn’t add up. The formula the City Commission passed last Tuesday would dedicate an anticipated $3 million a year from a half-cent sales tax to property tax relief (35 percent) and infrastructure projects and job creation (65 percent).
