FORT RILEY — After a Manhattan woman reported being raped at the fort on Sunday, Master Sgt. Michael Lavigne confirmed that special agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID) are investigating the allegations.

CID is working closely with local law enforcement and takes the allegations very seriously, Lavigne said, and Fort Riley officials are fully cooperating with the investigation.

No further information will be released at this time, as the investigation is still ongoing.
