To the Editor:
Shall we join Grace Hwang on a time trip back to the third grade when boys voted for boys and girls voted for girls? Perhaps she would have benefited from my third-grade teacher, Mrs. Collier, who after observing this phenomenon stated she was confident that with maturity, we would see the wisdom in supporting the best candidate regardless of gender or friend-ship. It is doubtful that Mrs. Collier would have sacrificed that basic principle for the sake of political correctness or demographics.
