Chiropractor starts local practice Monday

Dean Dierksen, DC, will begin practice in Manhattan on Monday.

Dierksen, a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, is moving to Manhattan after practicing in Kansas City for the past two years.

Dr. Dierksen is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Kansas Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Dierksen, who specializes in Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Functional and Kinetic Treatment and Rehabilitation (FAKTR), Animal Chiropractic, low force and manual techniques, will locate his office at 324C Southwind Place in Manhattan (the northwest corner of the Target shopping center right next to Arby’s).

Dierksen said while chiropractic care is the foundation of his practice, he will also be providing other services such as nutrition, wellness care, sports care, and rehabilitation.
