Two area prep stars will have one more chance to represent their schools after being selected for the 40th annual Kansas Shrine Bowl.
Riley County’s Bryce Chavis and Rock Creek’s Jordan Ebert were named to the game on Thursday, and will play against each other.
Chavis, who played quarterback and defensive back for the Falcons this season, will play for the West team.
Ebert, a three-year starter along the offensive and defensive lines, will play for the East team.
They will join a few Kansas State football commits in the game as well, as Conway Springs’ Tanner Wood and Baldwin’s Dayton Valentine were also chosen for the game.
This year’s Shrine Bowl will be July 27 at Yager Stadium at Washburn in Topeka.
