Central Christian upends MCC men, 94-80

The Manhattan Christian College men’s basketball team went on the road Thursday night and lost, 94-80, to Central Christian College in McPherson. 

Central shot 59 percent from the field, while the Crusaders connected on only 39 percent of their shots which enabled the Tigers to take 51-34 halftime lead.

In the second half, Central stretched its lead out to 73-43 before MCC made a late run.

Will Chisam led MCC with 16 points and Lonnie Penner chipped in with 12 points. David Frost added 10 points and six rebounds. 

MCC (8-7) will be back in action on Saturday as it travels to Springfield, Mo., to take on Baptist Bible College in an NCCAA Central Region game.
