Cats to finish regular season in Indiana

The Kansas State women’s golf team will travel to Bloomington, Ind., Saturday and Sunday to compete in the Indiana Invitational at the par-71, 6,477-yard Indiana University Golf Course.

The tournament will be 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.

The Wildcats are coming off of a ninth-place finish at the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate and look to build momentum for the conference tournament, which will be held April 27-29 in Lawrence.

K-State will send Carly Ragains, Gianna Misenhelter, Kristen Dorsey, Whitney Pyle, Hanna Roos, Ami Storey and Paige Osterloo to Indiana.

The five-person scoring lineup was to be determined on Friday, while the other two players will compete as individuals.

Ragains, who currently has the second highest stroke average at 75.33, led the team at the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate, and looks to continue her successful spring season.

Gianna Misenhelter, who leads the Cats with a 74.52 stroke average, will look bounce back from a 33rd-place finish at the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate. 

K-State will be joined at the Indiana Invitational by Bradley, Eastern Michigan, Evansville, Illinois State, Indiana, Missouri State, Toledo, Valparaiso, Western Michigan and UMKC.
