Cats lose in two OTs at Baylor



WACO, Texas — The Kansas State men’s basketball team crumbled on the road again on Saturday, losing 87-73 in two overtimes at Baylor.

The Wildcats (17-8, 7-5) blew a nine-point lead at halftime, and then blew a 10-point lead in the second half, leading to a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Baylor guard Brady Heslip to force the first overtime.

Marcus Foster missed a go-ahead free throw with 35 seconds left in the first overtime and the Bears (16-9, 4-8) missed a late game-winning attempt.

Baylor opened the second overtime on a 7-0 run and held on to win.

Nino Williams scored a career-high 20 points for the Wildcats, and Marcus Foster had 18. Thomas Gipson finished with 12. Kenny Cherry had a triple-double for Baylor with 20 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
