Catlin, Jensen win Little Apple Open

Cody Catlin and Cory Jensen shot 189 in three days to win the Little Apple Open Aug. 2-4.

Players competed at the Manhattan Country Club, Stagg Hill Golf Club and Colbert Hills.

Catlin and Jensen took the championship flight by two strokes, while Ken Goff and Ben Fair were second at 191, and Ron Rush and Dave Oetken took third with a 191.

Scott Wartman and Kyle Taggart took the first flight at 197. Greg Blackwell and Mike Titus were second and Tom Mathews and Randy Shelley were third.

Chris Mickelson and Mike Budig won the second flight at 205. Adi Chapin and Jamie Lynds were second and Doug Wiley and Charles Cox were third.

The third flight was won by Brad Swanson and Jeff Benjamin at 220. Dave Gourlay and Matt Gourlay was second and Randy Fountain and Craig Herman were third.

Tom Grieshaber and BJ Laven won the fourth flight at 225, while John McNellis and Luke McNellis were second. Brian Kovar and Ray Kovar were third.

The fifth flight was won by Kevin Fately and Devan Zwygart at 233. Harley Pottorf and Greg Klocke were second and Mark Moore and Erika Moore were third.
