Carol May Moore, 66, of Manhattan, died at the Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.

The family provided some of the following information.

She was born on May 4, 1947 in Manhattan. She was the daughter of Richard and Sybil (Robinson) Roberts. Carol worked at Kansas State University as an administrative officer in the office of the Dean of Agriculture. 

She loved to travel, especially to Florida to the beaches. Carol enjoyed quilting and was an avid gardener.  Her family was very important to her; there was nothing she wouldn’t do or try to do for them.

Carol was preceded in death by her father Richard.

Survivors include her husband Jerry, of the home in Manhattan; her mother, Sybil Roberts, of Riley; her children, Jeff Miller (Jane), of Topeka, Kim O’Hara, of Wichita, Amy Reves (John), of Wamego, Penny Cooper (Darren), of Rossville, Chris Miller, of Dunedin, Fla., and Danny Moore (Katie), of Kansas City, Mo.  Also she is survived by her sister, Joy Gerlaugh (Jim), of Manhattan; and her brother Tom Roberts (Mary), of Parsons; and her 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Moore will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel, with the the Rev. Jol Klein officiating.  Cremation will follow the services.

The family will greet friends during a visitation from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
