Bubble Wash employee files suit against customer

An employee of a local car wash has filed suit against a motorist, alleging that the driver’s negligence at the car wash resulted in injuries to the plaintiff. Laura Sims, an employee of Bubble Wash at 4703 Fort Riley Blvd. at the time of the accident is seeking recovery of medical costs from Samantha Beye. The suit alleges that in March of 2011 Beye drove into the southwest corner of the booth Sims was working in, causing the sliding door of the booth to close on Sims’ left hand.

She is suing for damages in excess of $75,000, claiming past, present and future disability, loss of time and earnings, pain, discomfort and medical expenses.
