The Tim Brooks era at Manhattan High is over.
MHS athletic director Mike Marsh said Brooks chose to resign in a statement Friday morning.
“At this time, Coach Brooks has chosen to resign his position as basketball coach at Manhattan High,” he said. “I want to thank him for his efforts these past nine years and wish him the best.”
Shane Sieben and Benji George will continue to share coaching duties in the interim for the rest of the season, which includes five regular-season games and whatever postseason games the team qualifies for.
