Blue Valley girls pick up first victory of the season

At Randolph, the Blue Valley girls took a six-point lead to halftime, but turned it on in the third quarter, leading by 15 heading into the fourth to win going away, 55-34. The victory was the Rams’ first of the season.

Blue Valley (1-12, 0-6 Twin Valley) had two girls with double-double performances in Monique Sandquist with 15 points and 13 rebounds and Megan Plummer with 15 points and 11 boards. Tess Henry had 13 points, including two 3-pointers.
