Blue Valley falls at Baileyville 66-32

At Baileyville, after starting the year 5-0, the Blue Valley-Randolph Rams lost their last four games to end the season 5-4 and miss the playoffs.

The Rams’ final loss came on Thursday night, falling to District champion Baileyville B&B 66-32.

It was the first winning season for the Rams under coach Matt Schreiber, as they’ve struggled in past seasons to get over the four-win hump.

Blue Valley’s schedule became much tougher after its first five wins though, playing some of 8-man DII’s best teams, including the state’s best in Baileyville B&B.

It was the final meeting between the two schools, as Baileyville will consolidate with Nemaha Valley to form Nemaha Central next year.
