Blue Valley defeats Linn 16-6

At Linn, the Rams scored a pair of touchdowns in the second half to turn away Linn in a 16-6 win on Friday at Linn.

Blue Valley-Randolph got its first touchdown on a 3-yard run by Bill Sumerour in the third quarter, and scored on a 2-yard run by Marshall Carey in the fourth.

Carey had 196 yards on 30 carries, while Sumerour had 12 yards on six carries.

Carey had 11 tackles, while Chase Carey had 12 tackles and two for loss. Kyle Clifton had nine tackles and a fumble recovery, as the Rams forced three turnovers.

Blue Valley (2-0, 1-0 Twin Valley) will be at home this week for a game against Marmaton Valley. The Wildcats (0-2) lost to Colony-Crest 14-6 on Friday.
