Berean Academy was not able to repeat, but they did wrap up a third place finish after defeating the Madison Bulldogs 50-38.
While Cameron Rust was the star for the Warriors for the first two games, Daniel Claasen shot 70 percent from the field and scored 20 points in the consolation game. Loren Pearce scored six points and grabbed nine boards for the Warriors.
Tyler Williams, who was a perfect 10-10 from the charity stripe and finished with 18 points, led Madison. Williams also scored 25 points in the first game for Madison.
Defensively the Warriors were solid, forcing 11 turnovers and holding the Bulldogs to less than 31 percent from the field.
