BB gun damage reported

Two cases of BB gun damage were reported to the windows of a car and local business on Friday.

Lt. Josh Kyle said the first incident, which occurred between Nov. 28 and 30, involved a red Pontiac belonging to Kolby Balthazor, 21, Manhattan, which was parked in the 600 block of 10th Street.

Kyle said the car’s back window showed suspected BB gun damage. The total loss was $500.

In the second incident, reported on the Nov. 30, an employee of ERA Group, 1430 Poyntz Ave., reported that the front door had been shattered overnight from an apparent BB gun pellet. The total loss was $350.

Both cases are under investigation.
