Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms officials announced Wednesday that they are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the early morning fire at Strasser Village Apartments on Nov. 6, 2011.

The fire caused an estimated $2.7 million in damage to the apartment building, located at 4th and Leavenworth streets, and damaged multiple nearby businesses. The fire caused total destruction to the unfinished apartment complex and was the costliest arson fire in Manhattan’s history.

The ongoing criminal investigation is being conducted by ATF, the Manhattan Fire Department, the Riley County Police Department and the Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office. Anyone with the information about the incident is asked to call ATF at 1-888-ATF-FIRE or 816-559-0710.
