Arrests made in Pott County burglaries

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office has taken two individuals into custody for their alleged involvement in burglaries reported on Diamond Road in rural St.Marys and in the city of St.Marys.

On Tuesday, detectives with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and the St.Marys Police Department served a search warrant at 1220 Pawnee Dr., St.Marys. 

Sheriff Greg Riat said that as a result of this warrant, stolen property was recovered to include power tools, household goods, guns, electronics, and other miscellaneous items that had been previously reported as stolen from the earlier burglaries. 

Detectives working the case learned during this investigation that the suspects were also said to have been involved in an aggravated robbery to one of the residences at an earlier date. 

Arrested for these incidents were Luke William Linxwiler, 35, 1220 Pawnee Drive, St.Marys, for aggravated robbery, burglary, theft, criminal damage to property, and criminal use of a weapon.

Linxwiler is currently being held at the Pottawatomie County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Also arrested was Stephanie Marie Cole, 37, 1220 Pawnee Drive, for aggravated robbery, burglary, theft, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

She is also being held at the Pottawatomie County Jail on $100,000 bond. 

The investigation is ongoing.
