Area students graduate from Baker

Area students were among the more than 700 undergraduate, graduate and nursing students at Baker University received their degrees during commencement ceremonies Dec. 15-16 at the Collins Center.

The area graduates are listed in order of their hometowns.

Junction City: Christopher Coleman, Associate of Arts in Business

Manhattan: Cole Eilders, Master of Business Administration;

McFarland: Tammy (Tamara) Gasperich, Bachelor of Business Administration

St. Marys: Raymond E Bolton, Bachelor of Science in Nursing; and Melissa A Mitchell, Bachelor of Science in Nursing;

Baker, the first university in Kansas, has been listed among the top schools in the Midwest in the annual college rankings by U.S. News and World Report, and selected as a top school in the Midwest by The Princeton Review.
