Architect firm merges with local holding company

Anderson Knight Architects will join the Action Pact Holdings family of companies effective June 1, and will assume the name of Action Pact Design.

“This move will enable Action Pact to broaden the spectrum of services we offer clients, creating a more integrated end-to-end solution for those providers who share the vision of transformed eldercare,” said Steve Shields, CEO and principal.

Action Pact Design will continue its work on a wide variety of regional projects with both commercial and residential clients.

“This move does not diminish our firm commitment to the diversity of project types in the Manhattan and Kansas markets,” said Tracy Anderson, principal architect.  “We are excited that our specialization in senior design has grown to a national level these past few years so the move into the Action Pact companies was a logical progression.”

Action Pact offers a comprehensive suite of services to senior living communities including pre-feasibility analysis, organizational restructuring, fund sourcing, project development, architectural design, operations management, and consulting.  Action Pact is internationally known for the development of the Household Model as an alternative to institutional senior care.  The company currently has clients in 26 states and two foreign countries.  Based in Manhattan, Action Pact also has offices in Milwaukee and Atlanta.  An additional office is slated for the fourth quarter in Kolkata, India.
