Anthony Middle School routs Emporia

The Anthony Middle School football team cruised past Emporia on Tuesday, 42-6.

Hayden Prawl got things going early for AMS with a fumble recovery he returns for a touchdown in the first quarter. Braedyn Woborny then completed a two-point conversion pass to Mason Wallace.

Zephry Killham then made it 16-0 in the opening quarter when he ran the ball in from 8 yards out and Woborny tacked on the two-point conversion run.

Killham scored his second TD of the game in the second quarter when scored on a 10-yard run.

Woborny then connected with Wallace again, this time for a 12-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.

The AMS scoring was capped by a pair of touchdown from 37 and 1 yards out from Chance Andrade in the third quarter.

AMS also won the B game against Emporia, 22-6.

Dirk Andrade scored in the first on a 2-yard run, followed by Elijah Jepsen’s two-point conversion run.

CJ Lowery then got into the end zone on a 32-yard run, again followed by a two-point conversion from Jepsen.

Talin Claussen then finished the AMS scoring on a 4-yard touchdown run.

The AMS A and B teams will return to action Tuesday at Seaman Middle School.
