Anthony Middle School falls to Junction City

The Anthony Middle School football team lost to Junction City last week, 28-12. The B team lost 12-6.

The A team trailed 8-0 after the first quarter before Braedyn Woborny hit Mason Wallace for a 30-yard touchdown pass. Junction City would lead 16-6 at the half.

Down 20-6 in the third quarter, Anthony scored with a 1-yard run by Chance Andrade. Junction City put the game away in the fourth.

After a scoreless first quarter, Anthony’s B team led 6-0 at halftime with a 1-yard run by CJ Lowery.

Junction City scored twice in the final 2 minutes of the game to win.

Anthony will face Eisenhower on Tuesday.
