Anthony girls beat Eisenhower

The Eisehower and Anthony Middle School eighth grade girls’ teams faced off on Tuesday, with Anthony winning the A team game 32-31.

Josie Hilgers, who had six points and seven rebounds for Anthony, made two free throws with no time on the clock to win the game.

Megan Klug and Kenzie Smith scored six points, while Raegan Wilcoxson added five for Anthony.

Eisenhower was led by Cailey Perkins, who scored 14 points. Tessa Irvine score six, and Mackenzie Pease and Hana Tamura scored four each.

The Eisenhower B team beat Anthony 26-14.

Hannah Religa and Jaden Perry led the way with six points, while Addy Stone and Eilish MacCharles each scored four.

Dawn McNabb led Anthony with six points, and Bethany Ferguson had three.

Eisenhower began the Centennial Middle League tournament today against Emporia, while Anthony hosted Shawnee Heights.
