An extra week of being a kid isn’t such a bad thing

To the Editor:
In response to Mr. Felber’s column on Friday, “Summer began early for 8th grade,” I question the underlying theme that none of the events listed had any educational value. I agree that they weren’t gradable activities like a homework assignment, but I believe the students were still learning.
