AMS volleyball competes in triangular

The Anthony Middle School eighth grade volleyball team competed in a triangular in their season opener recently.

The A team lost to Shawnee Heights 21-25, 25-16, 13-15. Gigi McAtee led the team with nine kills and Grace Walker had five service aces.

AMS then defeated Fort Riley 25-3, 25-7. Aubrey Downey had eight service aces.

The B team lost to Shawnee Heights 11-25, 25-13, 7-15. Kayla McCullough had six service winners. The B team then defeated Fort Riley 25-7, 25-7.  Meg Mankin had three kills.
