AIB International names new president/CEO

Andre Biane has been named president and CEO of AIB International by its board of trustees after a five-month, nationwide search.

Biane will replace James Munyon, who has served as president and CEO of AIB for the past eight years.

Biane has more than 30 years of experience in the food industry, according to a release from AIB. He has served as vice president of research and design and quality as well as vice president of product development at Sara Lee. He was vice president of research and design and quality at Earthgrains bread company. He has also worked for Eagle Snacks and Anheuser-Busch, and he was a managing partner of ABusiness Solution, a consulting company.

Munyon will begin assisting Biane with the transition on March 11.
