A Manhattan man reported that he was attacked by another man with a cinder block Monday evening at his residence.
Thomas Shump, 33, 1020 Houston St., said that an approximately 50-year-old white man knocked at his door at about 8 p.m. and attacked him with a cinder block in Shump’s front yard.
Capt. Kurt Moldrup said the suspect may be known to Shump, though he reported not knowing the man’s name.
Shump had a cut to his forehead from the attack that required stitches, Moldrup said. No arrests have yet been made.
