Accident on Ft. Riley Blvd. sends two to the hospital

There was a three- vehicle accident on Fort Riley Boulevard and Rosecutter Road Aug. 25. Riley County EMS transported two people to Mercy Regional Health Center for treatment of minor injuries.

According to the Riley County Police Department, Latasha Young, of Junction City, ran her Chevrolet into the rear end of Kirissa Stueve’s white Ford, as Stueve, of Frankfort, was stopped at a red light. Stueve’s car was, in turn, pushed into the rear of a Buick driven by Cynthia Efkin, of Tipton, who was also stopped at the light.

Young and her passenger, Takayia Young, 4, were taken to Mercy Regional with the complaint of aggravation to a pre-existing back injury.
Young was cited for driving while suspended, no proof of insurance and inattentive driving.
