4 people injured in rollover accident

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday at Blue River Hills Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard.

Emergency personnel were called to the intersection at about 1:25 p.m. for a report of the accident, in which one woman was entrapped in a pickup truck.
The truck had rolled onto its side and into the ditch. The other vehicle involved was an SUV. Both vehicles sustained major damage.

RCPD Capt. Tim Hegarty said one person was transported to a hospital with a moderate head injury, although he said the injury wasn’t “critical.” It wasn’t immediately clear if that person was the one freed from the truck.

Hegarty said the other three people suffered minor injuries and didn’t require EMS transport.

Additional details, including the names of the people involved, weren’t available Friday afternoon.
