3-vehicle accident on Tuttle Creek Boulevard

Three vehicles were involved in an accident that occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Ehlers Road. Two people were transported to the hospital.

Police reported that Thelma Tilley, 82, Manhattan, driving a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass, was stopped at the stop sign on Ehlers Road when she tried to make a left turn onto Tuttle Creek Boulevard and collided with a 1986 Dodge Ram pick-up truck driven by Andre Dean, 47, Manhattan.

Lt. Josh Kyle said the impact sent both cars into the northbound lanes of Tuttle Creek Boulevard, where they collided with a 1994 Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by Jack Schrader, 53, Green.

Dean and Tilley were transported by EMS to Mercy Regional Health Center. Kyle said Tilley suffered cuts to the face and left hand, and reported minor neck and back pain. Dean was transported for neck and back pain. Kyle said a friend drove Schrader to the hospital for minor neck and lower left leg pain.

He said police cited Tilley for failure to yield the right-of-way
