Three people are in custody following a drug bust Tuesday night during which approximately 10.5 pounds of marijuana and 232 marijuana plants were seized.
Adam Hudson, 29, 502 Fremont St., Gregory Chambers, 43, 502 Fremont St., and Cynthia Jones, 39, Topeka, were arrested after Riley County detectives, with the assistance of the Kansas Bureau of Investigations, searched the residence of Hudson and Chambers at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Officer Matt Droge said officers arrested both men for the cultivation of marijuana, possession with the intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school, no Kansas drug tax stamp, misdemeanor and felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor and felony possession of marijuana.
They are both confined to the Riley County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Officers arrested Jones for possession of a hallucinogen. She is confined to the Riley County Jail on $2,000 bond.
The bust is part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drugs in Riley County.
