A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS AS TO THE ADVISABILITY AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF AN IMPROVEMENT UNDER AND PURSUANT TO K.S.A. 12-6a01, et seq. WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Clerk on the 24th day of September, 2015, requesting sanitary sewer improvements for Scenic Crossing Addition, Project No. SM1511 and the Governing Body of the City hereby find the petition to be sufficient. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MANHATTAN, KANSAS, that the following findings as to the advisability of the construction of said improvements are hereby made to-wit: a) GENERAL NATURE OF IMPROVEMENT: Stormwater Site excavation and grading for Scenic Crossing to grade drainage patterns, profiles, and detention pond on the development site. Detention pond will have storm sewer pipe exiting the detention pond and outfall at public infrastructure along Anderson Avenue. Project will also include the adjustment power poles that are in direct conflict with the grading required for property drainage along the Anderson Avenue right-of-way. The Bonds may be issued to reimburse expenditures made on or after the date, which is 60 days before the date of this resolution, pursuant to Treasury Regulation 1.150-2.
