On May 17, 2016, the City of Manhattan, Kansas adopted the following ordinance: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF LOT 2, MCCALL LANDING COMMERCIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, AND ORDINANCE NO. 6745; AND, REZONING A TRACT OF LAND FROM I-2, INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT, TO MCCALL LANDING COMMERCIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT. The Ordinance rezones a 2.56 acre tract of land generally located at the northwest corner the McCall Pattern property from I-2, Industrial Park District, to McCall Landing Commercial Planned Unit Development; and, amending Ordinance No. 6745 and the Final Development Plan of Lot 2, McCall Landing Commercial PUD, subject to the two (2) conditions of approval to accommodate the construction of an addition on the east end of the existing Menard warehouse. On May 17, 2016, the governing body of the City of Manhattan, Kansas passed an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION REFUNDING AND IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 2016-A, OF THE CITY OF MANHATTAN, KANSAS; PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF AN ANNUAL TAX FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING THE PRINCIPAL OF AND INTEREST ON SAID BONDS AS THEY BECOME DUE; AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OTHER DOCUMENTS AND ACTIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND MAKING CERTAIN COVENANTS WITH RESPECT THERETO.
