On May 17, 2016, the governing body of the City of Manhattan, Kansas passed an ordinance entitled: ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MANHATTAN, KANSAS, TO ISSUE ITS HEALTH CARE FACILITY REVENUE BONDS (MEADOWLARK HILLS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY), SERIES 2016A, TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF REFUNDING THE CITY'S HEALTH CARE FACILITY REVENUE BONDS (MEADOWLARK HILLS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY), SERIES 2007A AND SERIES 2007B ORIGINALLY ISSUED FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING OR REFINANCING IMPROVEMENTS TO A HEALTH CARE AND RETIREMENT FACILITY LOCATED IN THE CITY; AND APPROVING CERTAIN DOCUMENTS AND ACTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF SAID BONDS.
