    NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Published in The Manhattan Mercury on Monday, February 27, 2017. Amend Manhattan Urban Area Comprehensive Plan (MUACP) by Adopting and Incorporating the Aggieville Community Vision Plan Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the City Commission Room, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, by the Manhattan Urban Area Planning Board, for the purpose of hearing all interested parties relative to amending the MUAPC to adopt and incorporate the Aggieville Community Vision (ACV) as part of the MUAPC. The ACV is an update of the Aggieville-Campus Edge District Plan originally adopted in 2005. The ACV provides detailed guidance for development code amendments and civic improvements intended to support and enhance this residential, shopping, and entertainment district. The proposed Aggieville Community Vision is under separate cover and will be cited within the MUACP. The proposed ACV may be viewed and downloaded from the City of Manhattan website, http://www.cityofmhk.com, and is available for review at the Community Development Department, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas. Comments on the proposed Aggieville Community Vision will be heard at the Public Hearing. If you have questions or comments, contact the Community Development Department at 587-2412. The amendments are based on recommendations in both the existing and proposed Aggieville district plans.
