Rebranded to Rhythm and Brews Music Festival®, which will still feature jazz at its core, but also offer neo-funk and bluegrass in order to appeal to a wide variety of audience members. This year’s festival will be part of the Arts in the Park series and held in conjunction with Rhythm and Brews.

Last year’s festival attracted more than 2,000 people. The festival also aims to attract out-of-towners to show off Manhattan, Kansas, the Little Apple®! We strive to showcase four or five bands, including this year’s headliner, Red Molly, which is brought to us by the Manhattan Convention & Visitor’s Bureau. The headlining bands for the 2005-2014 festivals were:  were Kevin Mahogany, Kathy Kosins, Ron Gutierrez, Lisa Henry, Les Lankhorst, Roxi Copland, and CJ Manning & Company, Panorama, County Road 5, and The Steel Wheels, respectively. There will be two stages at the festival and a family-friendly area featuring a photo booth, balloon artist, bouncy house, and face painters. There will be food vendors too. It’s an event that appeals to the whole family.
